- The Firm won a directed verdict in In re ICN Pharmaceuticals on behalf of the company's president in a class action securities fraud trial. The Firm has also represented several other current and former ICN executives in SEC, grand jury, and securities fraud matters.
- In United States v. Stewart, the Firm represented Martha Stewart as co-counsel in her criminal case. After repeated defense motions, the single securities fraud count in the indictment was dismissed. Ms. Stewart was later convicted on other counts in a verdict currently on appeal.
- In Jett v. Kidder Peabody, the Firm represented bond trader Joseph Jett in his successful arbitration against his former employer and in related securities law investigations.
