Daniel Treiman joined the firm as a fellow in December 2017. Mr. Treiman received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar and an Article Editor at the Annual Survey of American Law, and his B.A. with high distinction from the University of California, Berkeley. He was previously a Peggy Browning Fellow at Levy Ratner, P.C., a participant in the Public Policy Advocacy Clinic of the Brennan Center for Justice in its Democracy Program, and an intern at Region 29 of the National Labor Relations Board. Prior to law school, he worked as a journalist, including as an editor and reporter at the Forward newspaper and as managing editor of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, a global news service.
As ECBA’s Bobby McLaughlin Fellow, Mr. Treiman is focusing on wrongful conviction work.
